What Happens After I Book?

Your deposit has been received! We’re so excited to work with you to make your big day a smashing success. Now that you’re booked, let’s look at what comes next.
First, you’ll receive some calendar reminders from us. This practice helps make sure there are clear expectations regarding when pertinent information needs to be finalized. You’ll also receive a deadlines PDF that shows all of those dates in one place.
Then, our communications usually drop off for a bit, as is par the course for the planning process. You’ll no doubt stay busy booking other vendors and sourcing decor (among other things), but our role as caterers doesn’t come into play until much closer to your wedding date. Of course, you’re always welcome to reach out via phone or email if questions arise, but the next time that we would reach out to you would be for a two month check in.
Our two month check in helps us start tying up loose ends and begins to move us towards your finalized invoice. We’ll make sure you’re still happy with your menu choices and linen colors; additionally, you’ll receive a blank copy of our Event Details Packet. This packet walks through your entire event from start to finish and helps us keep all of the details in one central location.
Two weeks before your wedding, you’ll send in the completed Event Details Packet along with your final guest count, floor plan, and timeline. We’ll make sure that your invoice accurately reflects your vision for the big day. Then there’s just the final payment left.
While you can break up your payment in the way that works best for your finances, we recommend saving one last payment for the week before your wedding. In our experience, you never know what last minute additions or edits you may need to make. We accept payments via check (mailed or dropped off) or credit card (Paypal, 2.5% processing fee) and will send you an updated invoice showing payment made after it’s processed.
Then, all that’s left to do is get married! And, of course, celebrate afterwards with a delicious meal.
