Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The Prep Cook plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchen by assisting with food preparation, ingredient organization, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about food and looking to start or advance their career in the culinary industry.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and preparing sauces and dressings

- Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in food preparation

- Organize and maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients

- Adhere to food safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling and storage of perishable items

- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders

- Assist with cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a prep cook or kitchen assistant preferred, but not required

- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take direction

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
