As evidenced by the above slideshow, the Fork and Flair team are huge animal lovers – always have been, always will be! We know how important your connection to your pet can be, and it’s always a blast to see the creative and unique ways that couples think of to include their furry friends in the big day. Here are some of our favorites:
Dessert Decor
An easy but effective way to incorporate your pets is to use them in your desserts! Not literally, of course, but whether it’s photo print outs on skewers, small models, or artfully designed icing decorations, your guests will love the personal (and adorable!) touches.

Meal Indicators
If your dinner service is plated, you’ll be needing meal indicator cards to let the dining leads know what entree everyone ordered. Why not use the adorable faces of your pets? This option works great for couples with multiple pets, as you just pair up each animal with an entree selection.
Pet-Hosted Bar
Signature drinks are a fun way to put a personal touch on your bar service. If your pets can’t physically attend the ceremony or reception, have them metaphorically cheers your guests with a Fido-approved drink menu.
Ring Bearer/Aisle Escorts
With many couples opting for child-free wedding ceremonies, there has been a rise in four legged ring bearers and aisle escorts. We love when couples are able to have their furry friends with them in person on the big day, and giving them the opportunity to walk down the aisle as part of your wedding procession ensures that the moment will live forever in your photo album!
To-Go Treat Bags
If you know your guest count includes lots of animal lovers as well, you may want to add a to-go pet treat station at your reception. It’s a fun way for guests to bring a little of the party back home to their furry pal and let your guests know that you were thinking of them.
Do you have other ways that you’ve incorporated pets into the big day? Let us know! We’d love to hear all about it – and, of course, see the pictures!
