How has it been a whole year?! We launched the Flair side of the company in April of 2025 (read about our launch!) and so many good things have come from it. Our resident “Flair-y Godmother” (aka the Head of our Day of Coordination Department, Jenny Roloff) has been keeping us very busy over the last 12 months. Read on to hear from Jenny about what Fork and Flair can offer you outside of a delicious meal!

Q: Can you give us a little reminder of what Fork and Flair does?

A: Fork and Flair Catering and Events is a multifaceted company comprised of the Fork Catering side and the Flair Events side. We are two separate departments working in the same company. Our well established catering reputation has garnered the trust of the community with our consistent and delicious off-site catering. We wanted the ability to provide more to those clients, so we launched Flair Events last year! We currently have a variety of Day of Coordination Packages for interested clients. We are also able to extend some great discounts for our catering clients as the work is streamlined through a single company. We have also recently started offering a few rental options and paper goods.

Q: Tell me more about these new services!

A: Absolutely! For rentals, we have a few in-house items that are commonly needed at every wedding. Our most popular offerings include easels, tealight candles, bathroom baskets, and card boxes. For paper services, we are currently offering escort cards and printed menus. I have a relationship with a small local printer who is able to assist with any printing needs. For the escort cards, I will take care of the file uploading and adjusting; clients will just need to send in a spreadsheet with the guests’ names, table number, and meal choice. Our escort cards have been extremely popular with wedding clients! I was honestly surprised by the abundance of positive feedback on this service. I can also work with clients to design paper menus if they would like to have that extra personal touch incorporated into their tablescape.

Q: It sounds like you have been VERY busy this year. How do YOU feel the year went?

A: Great question! Looking at our booking numbers, I am very happy with the output of our first year! Since most of our clients are booking for events one to two years into the future – and since we have a very busy wedding season this year! – we will hopefully start getting some reviews soon. We love to hear from our community so we can learn and grow! I am personally going out to all events in this first year to make sure we are providing a high standard of service.

Q: That is very hands-on – I am sure the clients appreciate that level of care! What can we expect to see from Flair Events this next year? Any future goals you want to share?

A: The goal for this year is to establish ourselves as a Catering AND Day of Coordination company within the community. Like I mentioned previously, I want to be present at every event this year, making sure that every client is happy with our services. We want to always provide an affordable way for people to have an experienced, company-backed Day of Coordinator at their event as well as high-quality, locally sourced services to elevate their special day. I am looking forward to the reviews starting to roll in from both clients and other vendors in the area.

As for the future, I personally have many goals and dreams for what we can offer the Twin Cities wedding community. Diversity, equity, and inclusion matter to both me and to Fork and Flair as a whole – not just in who we employ, but also in the services we provide. When you look at weddings in Minnesota specifically, I think there can be a gap between the currently offered planning packages and the rich and varied cultural traditions that clients want to incorporate in their big day. I would like to be able to properly serve the different communities by learning about their unique backgrounds and hiring culturally competent vendors who our clients know they can trust.

Overall, we are very excited to see what the future holds!

Q: Thank you so much for taking the time to answer these questions, Jenny! How can potential clients get a hold of you to discuss your services?

A: No problem at all! I am super passionate about my job, and I love to talk about it! The best way to get a hold of me is to request a quote on our website. You can find our Day of Coordination page there as well for an initial overview of those services.

It sounds like there is an exciting wedding season ahead for the Fork and Flair Day of Coordination Department! A big thank you to Jenny for taking the time to share her year in review with us! And thank you to all of our Fork and Flair clients for making every year a great one ❤️
